Twinkle, Twinkle Little Prayer

You have been overhearing Daddy talk to Mommy over the phone about his spider bite so tonight you told Mommy that when we say our blessings you were going to ask for Daddy to feel better. After your late night bath (while on vacation in Zitsa, Greece), we stepped onto the veranda and walked down the side  of the house to look at the twinkling lights nestled in the mountains from the next village’s homes. We call them twinkling stars since they glow & sparkle like tiny diamonds in the sky. We said our prayers together: Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord….you interjected, “Bless Mommy, Sophia, and Daddy. Bless everywhere that Daddy works. Bless everywhere we go. Bless Ellada (Greece). Bless Dyersburg.” I love these little prayers that you pull from the depths of your heart!” They’re magical waves of thought processes from you whom I love more than the farthest twinkling star in the sky!
