Princess Girl

With a grin spread from ear to ear, you say/ask: "Mommy, she's a silly girl! Ain't she?"

And I respond, "Yes, she is! Isn't she?"

You laugh and respond. "Princess Girl follows us everywhere we go! She's a silly cat! Isn't she?"
Crowning Princess Girl with one of your baby doll crowns.
A late winter day---outside time with Princess Girl.
Princess Girl is resting nearby where you're helping plant petunias.
A gift from Princess Girl at your birthday party....a music box! "Mommy, how did she know I wanted a music box?"
You love to find Princess Girl amongst us whether we're in Greece or in the grocery store. Anywhere that Princess Girl's twin may be lurking, you'll spot the cat and grin. Each cat or kitten's face that resembles Princess Girl brings pure joy to your face. You love to buy cat food that has a picture look-a-like of Princess Girl on it. You'll notice a snapshot on my laptop or camera and instantly ask me to wait so that you can kiss your kitty. You're a silly girl but I love the delight that your cat brings to your daily walk.

TAG, you're it! A spring day outside....
You never realized that Princess Girl came around and tagged you from behind! Silly fun!
I love to wake up in the morning to find Princess Girl sitting outside the window sill meowing, waiting for you to wake. I love to watch you play with her and in return watch how Princess Girl follows you around the yard. She'll wait for you behind bushes and trees and tag you. She always manages to frighten you into a ball of giggles when she jumps out at you. Princess Girl is also the best seeker too. She sneaks behind you and finds you every time. But I think she's an even better "hider" too! She's managed to become pregnant twice this past spring but we've yet to discover any kittens. Once when I picked you up from school, we came home to a little black kitten by the back door. She wasn't alive. Daddy had to come get her for us. Then, the next day she brought us another deceased kitten. Mrs. Polly, our neighbor, came after her before you saw her. I hated that you even had to see or hear about kittens but we talked about them going to heaven and you prayed for them. At dinnertime, you always wanted to include praying for those little kittens. Prior to us leaving for Greece, Princess Girl was ready to give birth to more kittens. Daddy & you prepared beds for her...leaving one by the back door and one in the garage. But once again, Princess Girl ran away to give birth to her kittens. We arrived in Greece. Daddy searched everywhere for them and answered all of your questions about them on the phone when he'd call. Up until this point, no kittens. However, Princess Girl is still at home waiting for you. Daddy says that when he returns home from work, she's there waiting. You talked to her once on the phone from here (Greece). I'm sure Princess Girl was searching everywhere for you. I look forward to watching the two of you together upon our return home. I'm thankful for the love she's shared with you and the bond you have together. It's beautiful to watch your love for her too-----and to think when you were little bitty, you were terrified of cats and dogs. I never dreamed that you'd have a cat as a pet---and one that you cared for as much as you do! .......definitely unexpected moments of JOY!!
Little moments like this melt my heart.....

I love you little one!
