Our Legacy: Acquired a House to Remodel

A week ago, one of our neighbors knocked on our front door to welcome us home. She was delighted to see you, Sophia, playing outside with Daddy. After welcoming us home, Mrs. Joyce asked me if you'd like this dollhouse. I had no idea at the time what type of treasure awaited us but I knew that if it indeed was a treasure that needed a touch of remodeling that Daddy-O and I could pull it together to make it perfect for you. The unseen gift kept slipping my mind. Mrs. Joyce said that we needed a truck to move the house. Luckily, Mommy is driving a truck (I never dreamed that I'd be behind the wheel of an F-150 but anything to stay home with you and watch you grow up.)! Today, we were traveling in front of Rose Tree towards our bank to make a deposit so the two of us pulled in to the driveway to take a look at the dollhouse. It brought an immediate smile to my face. You were delighted too when Jeffery helped me load it into our truck. We called Daddy to give us a call when he would be at the shop. After he called us back, we delivered the dollhouse to Daddy's shop. You were eager to ask him if you could help him "fix" the dollhouse. When he said, "Yes!" you were ready to get your tool belt on right then. Sunday projects continue to fill our calendar. Daddy beamed with amazement at the work that has already gone into this house as he and his construction crew looked over their next project (at least one that will take place after hours)------with a touch of toddler help, yours! What a gift it is to receive from others unknown treasures that fill our lives with joy. I look forward to how this house will transform itself under Daddy's care, Mommy's input, and your imagination. Side Note: Dear Santa, Please begin looking for dollhouse miniature furniture that will fit this dollhouse perfectly!
