Babies & Princesses

Babies and princesses fill your imagination----you are always eager to play with your babies and you love to dress up like a little princess that you are!

Late Thursday night, I came into your room to check on you and this is what I found, a baby in your belly! Prior to getting out of bed after reading to you as you stilled to go to sleep, I felt something bumpy next to you and you said, "Mommy, it's just my baby!" So I didn't bother you but when I discovered later that night that it was under your shirt, I had to grab the camera. You silly girl! You can pretend to have babies in your belly now but PRETEND is the operative word for at least 25 more years!

"Mommy, it's just my baby!"
You often say, "Mommy, I have a baby in my belly!"
Friday morning's preschool morning routine was a little dramatic as we closed the backdoor and loaded up in the truck with keys, phone, backpack, boxes, lunchbox and more! Only mommy's hands were full.......and demands to "get my baby" were streamed with tears of "I want my baby. I don't want to go to school!" A stuffy head didn't help either this morning.......luckily, the rest of the school day ended well (with it being Mrs. Tracy's birthday----and a mini gift to her followed) with story time from Mommy! We read, Read to Tiger this afternoon on the carpet. Your classmates and you enjoyed the book as did Mommy reading to you all------and treats were handed out afterwards! I also had a special treat for you as we signed out-----a baby doll to ride in the truck with you!

Next, we dropped off our Operation Christmas Child boxes at First Christian Church and headed home to unwind for the weekend. I asked you if you wanted your baby doll to come inside the house. You said, "No, I want one left in the truck to have with me next time we go somewhere!" You were eager to kick off your boots and just stay home-------I asked if you wanted to go to..........and you said "maybe tomorrow." Babies were carried from the playroom to the kitchen to the living room to the bedroom.........and princess dresses and shoes were worn about the house------even while you were playing with Princess Girl, your kitty!
