Your Christmas voice performance, Merry & Bright, was a success! I was super proud of the way the show came together after months of practice at Studio on Main in Friendship. Again, I can't tell you how proud of you I am! Here's a few of my favorite snapshots of you on stage with your ensemble!
........and just as we lined up for the last number, We Wish You the Merriest, tears (fatigue had set in for the night---3 hours plus) welled in your eyes as you sought out multiple hugs! I cheered you on and just before the door closed behind the entire cast to sing, you ran in there and dried your tears! You sang on stage and as the audience cheered-------- it snowed! You weren't sure what was going on initially but when you saw the flakes, you too looked up in wonder!
You were a beautiful performer! You enjoyed yourself---------and Daddy & I enjoyed watching you perform Saturday night (December 15th, 2012). These memories and moments of joy will forever be etched in our hearts. We'll hear melodies and rhythms of song that will always bring us back to these months of practice and to this night of joy as you sang. Even this afternoon as you were dressed in your ballerina attire, you sat in Mommy's lap in the truck and we sang songs you've learned from voice lessons at Studio on Main with Mrs. Katie and Miss Hannah. You'd turn up the volume and we'd sing----then you'd say one more time Mommy (as we waited for you to perform your ballet recital to parents---as a midyear ending today)! And together we sang........
Rock, rock, rock my soul.......
These are the moments that rock my soul------the joys in your life are my blessings!
I love you!
