Today, I saw this sugar plum penguin print from Mary Engelbreit's holiday collection and it immediately made me think of you.......it was a little "HAPPY" in my day and you make me happy too! Yesterday, I took you to your last ballet class for the year---we were invited to stay and watch you perform your dance routine. We invited Daddy---and he came too! Mrs. Polly, our neighbor, came to watch her granddaughter, Caroline, perform but we enjoyed her presence too!
I was really proud of you. Daddy noted that you might not be graceful like a ballerina but we were both proud of all that you've learned---------I especially love how you transfer information/learning over from one of our learning experiences to something else! The same day that you performed your ballet routine for us, we heard Frosty the Snowman at home on the Holiday Channel's music selections! It was in the background in the kitchen! You looked up and said, "Mommy, that's the same song from ballet class!" Yes! You were right............
....your ballet recital is scheduled for May of 2013. You talked Mommy's ear off about getting your costume for the ballet show! Although you were measured for it in December, we won't see it until this spring! And I'm sure that you'll be a springtime sugar plum ballerina even then-----sweet, sweet, sweet! Yesterday, I snapped a few photographs of you enjoying yourself as we enjoyed watching you and your ballerina friends follow Mrs. Cathy's lead.

.....and back at home with Tippy's
Ballet Recital---your surprise for performing and most of all for
learning---------and having fun as you grow up to be much more than
Mommy's little sugar plum fairy! I love you little one! I want you to
experience the world around you & all of its facets! I look froward to
taking you all around the world--------you may or may not be on stage as
we travel the world but together in the audience of life, I'll hold
your hand and whisper, "I love you my little sugar plum!' You indeed make
life sweeter!
