This morning, the two of us enjoyed a leisure day at home prior to your voice performance that was scheduled for this evening! We typed your letter to Santa on Macy's official website so that we could print it & mail it to Santa to help wishes come true through the Macy's generous donation ($1 for every letter received) to the Make-A-Wish Foundation! (And I think your wish will come true too------I'm sure Santa will delight in finding you the perfect baby doll, barbies, and crowns!!) Additionally, we spent the morning prepping Vegetable Beef Soup for the local fire department in our neighborhood. Daddy delivered it to the men serving today/tonight.
I just wrote a letter to Santa!
I love you little "wanting" girl------but oh so giving are you! Prior to leaving for Kroger this morning to supplement our groceries for the fire department's soup, you asked for some change for your owl purse. Mommy gave you two quarters that were laying around in our bedroom. As soon as you saw the red kettle, you opened up your little owl purse laying across your hip and put your money into the kettle without hesitation or prompting! I love these little moments--------and pray that your giving will only increase--that as you are blessed, you will bless others!
