Go Lucy Go!

This morning, we followed up with an appointment with Dr. Michelle Puzdrakiewicz. I was almost 100% sure that the 10 day antibiotics had killed your infection and that we were ready to race about enjoying the last few weeks of preschool and spring outings. However, the follow-up appointment indicated that you needed another round of antibiotics due to continual swelling of the right lymph node in your neck. While we were at the doctor's office, you complained of your right ear hurting (no fever, no whines----just a statement). Sure enough-----When Dr. P looked into your ear, she found a not so pretty ear drum and a tube that was almost out! Thus, we left Medsouth with medication to fill and an appointment to return two weeks later. Luckily, you're a great sport and don't complain! You finished out the day at preschool while Mommy had your medications filled!

Five little ear drops in the right ear reminded me of the book we've read over and over again-------Raindrop Plop! One little raindrop dark, dark sky....Two little raindrops, clouds go by......a delight to hear you read the book to Mommy too (and to Daddy's surprise---when you read it to him one night)!

The rest of our day flew by after preschool......thunder woke you from your nap this afternoon and you were disappointed not to have visited the park. We enjoyed more indoor fun---free play for you in your playroom and a surprise from Daddy------he came back home. He never made it out of town to work in Kentucky.

Tonight, I donated to the GO LUCY GO! 5K second annual event.......

Last year, we were able to attend the race! You were delighted to have your face painted and you enjoyed the red, cool icy out in the hot, hot sun!!! This year, we have a prior engagement and will not be able to attend the event but our prayers will follow the participants in spirit and those receiving the funds at LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis.

 Go Lucy Go!

.........and a special little prayer for you to heal little one! Mommy is eager for you to feel 100% better so that we can enjoy each moment of every day together!
