Officially a Soccer Mom

Three weeks ago, soccer season started for you, Sophia! I was eager to have you learn about the sport so that you'd have knowledge about one more area of LIFE! Honestly, I didn't know how you'd handle tackling another scheduled event (in addition to preschool & voice) but you were a SOCCER STAR-STARTER! You greeted your Coach and followed directions learning how to kick the soccer ball towards the net! Being outdoors has always been one of your favorite activities so I shouldn't have been surprised---------and you could see Mommy from the field so that was a blanket of comfort for you too!

Although, you spend the majority of the time picking clover flowers, it has been a delightful few Saturday mornings watching you get out there and play soccer with your teammates! These are my favorite snapshots from week two of soccer------and this question from week one (prior to having an understanding of what soccer was), "Mommy, are we going to get on stage today?" I had been prepping you that in May, you'll be singing your VOICE songs on stage for Mommy & Daddy---thus, the confusion! My heart beams that I'm officially your soccer mom. We probably won't ever win the World Cup but having these Saturday mornings with you, in your soccer attire are all that I desire---time with you....watching you learn about the world around you!
