NO--ember

I wasn't really ready to let go of October and move into November yet! No! I guess, I could try a Sophia toddler moment! No! I still want October to continue------I just want to REMEMBER each and every moment with you. Awaiting for your doctor's visit in early October left me anxious....then the surgery....the results ...stress... exhaustion...captivated by the season with crafts---demands from you.... disappointment when you'd steer off my path----ha! The normal curves and bends in life that are evident but not always fitting where I personally want them to fit in the puzzle of life. Truly, October was filled to the brim with emotions and endeavors of every kind. Thoughts filled my heart, words brewed in the pot of life, keys were left un-pecked as I steered away from the computer when I wasn't working to curl up with a magazine, a book, or just you.........Thus, as we leave October behind, I'm thankful for these moments with you that I'll forever remember through these snapshots.

I love the way you're holding this little pumpkin & thinking! Just precious.....I relish these moments!
And I love, love this little happy faced pumpkin-----he reminds me of you, always HAPPY!
A collection of mini pumpkins that you painted---and one that I painted with you! I KNOW which one I love the most: The Purple Shirted Little Pumpkin!
Little Cheerleader (Want to Be): I love these cheers! Each one makes me smile!
S is for Sophia
Captivating pose---I love you!
"SO" is it always about Sophia? Yes!
Looking at the deer in the autumn field!
Private Sunday Hayride
Nature Called----Sweet moment with Daddy!
Daddy & Sophia
Nooks that melted stress during our hayride---you deserted Mommy on the bales of hay to ride in the comfort of the tractor with Daddy so Mommy snapped away at God's magnificent creation around us!
Tulip Poplar, Our State Tree: Oh! How I look forward to your leaf collection projects!
Sophia Evangelia Jackson
Mommy & Sophia------still cheering!
Claiming this picture to say, "Mommy, I love you this much!" Although you might still be cheering here too! Yet, I'll take whatever makes you happy because I want your world to be filled with JOY today--------and every tomorrow thereafter!
Sophia wanted to throw rocks into the lake. Guess what Daddy let you do? Throw Rocks!
Like a deer in hiding, there Mommy will always be----hidden in the depths of your heart & soul! You're my everything!
Witchy-Witch was created with your input (necklace, ear-rings, & more)!
Mommy's Butterfly Princess
Sweet tarts, one of your favorite candies---pure sugar!
Roasting Marshmallows---love that you call it "camping!"
Halloween Morning at Preschool
At the easel at school-----friend Shiloh, Bat Girl
Prayer facial expression-------blessing lunch
Halloween Lunch on your Ghost Place mat (love her eyes, nose, & mouth---a keepsake)
Halloween Night
10.31.12
And the month couldn't end without one more DOCTOR episode!
The patient (You) is really listening to what Daddy doctor is saying!
I'm overwhelmed with the multitude of blessings we were given in October. I am thankful for the moments we are able to share together and all of these captured with snapshots. And I know that although I'm not ready to let go of them, these snapshots will help engrave the joy of each in my heart forever. Furthermore, I declare that November will indeed be VICTORIOUS------a month filled with its own blessings. Thus, I'll give No--ember back it's "V" and let the victories of November begin today on the first day of November. Already I can count the blessings one by one-----the hickory smoked tenderloin with baked potatoes that we all enjoyed for dinner, the pink little Christmas tree whose lights shined awaiting ornaments, the questions, "Is Christmas tomorrow?", "Can we go camping? (You wanted to return to the Switzer's home to roast marshmallows again tonight---one of your favorite Halloween night treats.), the litter of Christmas books we read together tonight, your Voice Christmas tunes in the CD player resonating even a song from Mommy in the truck, the weekend that we have to look forward to together, the pretend play with Daddy---acting out how Mommy drops you off and picks you up from preschool, playdates with friends, expectations of birthday party invitations.........and the list goes on!" Indeed---victorious, November will bring us a plethora of joy beyond our dreams! Joel Osteen says, "Take your dreams and the promises God has put in your heart and declare every day that they will come to pass." I declare this over our lives this season!

Kalo Mina! (Have a great month!)
