With Daddy there's always a song.....
He's always singing something he heard on the radio. A tune that overlaps what we are discussing or such! When we were dating, he always had the best lines----and somehow always passed them on as his own until I heard them in a song..........(I guess I was too in love to notice that they were the perfect lines!). Until this day, his songs always make me smile or at least say....please change the tune, Rusty!
You love to sing too! And then there's the entire YOU TUBE world out there where one song or video leads you to another......and so I'm not sure how Daddy and you arrived at this song:
I'd hear it playing from the living room----pouring into the kitchen where I was prepping dinner and/or working late in the evenings after Daddy and you were wrapped in one another. And I'd hear you singing it to your baby dolls, "Go to sleep little babe, Go to sleep little babe Your momma's not here and your daddy's on the phone. I had to ask Daddy if that's what the song said....your momma's not here? And your daddy's on the phone? Pretty baby? We laughed as you continued to sing your own verse of the song!
I loved how you changed the words! The quickest tech device to grab as you were singing this song was Mommy's cell phone. Although it is not the clearest video, I do have a mini video of you singing it that I must, must save for you!
