As summer days draw to a close with September's presence, I loved this little moment today. You woke up from your afternoon nap today and immediately started playing with your dolls while watching cartoons on the couch. As your sleepy eyes adjusted, you ventured into the playroom to continue playing..."Mommy, where's Baby Litsa?" A little searching and we found her waiting for you in the truck....We brought her in for you to play with prior to having to leave for voice lessons. I continued working in the kitchen while you played contently in the living room and playroom. Then you ventured into the kitchen to tell me that we didn't need to leave Baby Litsa in the truck anymore because she was sweating. She is? was my question back to you as I smiled. You said, "See Mommy!?!" showing me her shiny head (Itty Bitty Baby). You asked me how she sweats since you hadn't ever seen her sweat before! I told you that it did look like sweat but in fact it was Neosporini from your skinned chin that had rubbed off of your chin and onto her babydoll head.
I loved this little moment with you! Childhood innocence----pure & delightful!
I love you little one!
